Reflection...

Do you ever have those days where you wake up on the wrong side of the bed?
Today I had one of those days.
I really just wanted to stay tucked in my sheets and blankets all day.
However, that was not an option.
Today I had to work,
I had an interview.
A special treat from the boss!
I have to finish up homework because I have class tonight.

So I slid out of bed.
Washed my face.
Brushed my teeth.
And wished I was back in bed.

While I cannot tell you that I am in a perfect, happy go lucky mood now.
I did have to change my mind set.
Today is only twenty four hours.
Nothing bad had happened... I just woke up!
I will make it through today.
I will smile.
I will laugh.

I made it to work.
My boss brought my Starbucks,
and listened to me complain.
Told me he wants to help me do new, bigger, and better things at work.

I went to the interview.
It was terrible,
but I know that God is leading me down the right path for me.
I prayed for Him to give me guidance,
and what better guidance than a bad interview,
and a boss that wants to help you grow?

As for school,
well the paper just needs editing.
and I have some reading to do.
I am capable of doing this.

and Tomorrow is a new day
where I can wake up on the right side of the bed.

You can do this.
Somedays don't feel good,
but you have the ability to change it!

Today, Tomorrow, Change

  1. Good for you for recognizing that it's just a fleeting feeling. I have been a crabby mood recently, but have been trying to recognize the small blessings in my life that I often overlook, and I usually start feeling better.

Hope tomorrow starts off happier :)
